Looking forward to being a part of Boulder’s long-standing Books & Tea event as one of two fiction readers–the other being my friend the great Nick Arvin (Mad Boy). Always fun to meet a whole bunch of new readers, especially a group that’s so invested in new writing that they’ll come out on a Saturday afternoon in September.
At the Inkwell Reading
Happy to be a part of the fiction crew reading at Denver’s At the Inkwell reading series this weekend. It’s Saturday, July 20 from 5-7PM up at BookBar. Hope to see you there! (By the way, BookBar is the exclusive retailer for Flatland here locally–and they’re good folks doing great literary service to the community to boot. Support them!)
Interviewed by Split Lip Magazine!
Loved speaking with Split Lip’s Kaitlyn Andrews-Rice earlier this year about my new collection and flash fiction in general. What a great conversation; I’m grateful!

Flatland Launch Event in Decatur, IL
I’m happy to announce that the official Flatland launch will be–appropriately enough–a gallery show at Millikin’s Blue Connection during their After5Live event on April 5, 2019. If you’re in or near Decatur, Illinois, please come out to support Flatland and celebrate with Britten and me. Copies of the book, as well as prints from the book (suitable for framing! hang ’em on your walls!) will be available for purchase at the event, and at the Blue Connection gallery through April 12. Please come out if you can, and help usher this book–and the love for the Midwest that it represents–with us!
Flatland Reading at Rosenberry Conference
I’m pleased to be visiting Greeley, Colorado as one of the featured readers in the 2019 Rosenberry Conference, where I’ll be talking about flash fiction and reading from my brand-new book (hot off the presses!) Flatland. The Rosenberry has hosted some great writers in past years; I’m privileged and grateful to be included among them. Thanks to the University of Northern Colorado’s English Department for putting this together.
Flatland–a Midwest collection of Flash Fiction and Photography–is now available!
The new collection of flash fiction and photography (from amazing artist Britten Traughber) is out and available with Bronze Man Books. Teague is currently setting up readings in the Midwest and across the country.
